In 1825 when Britain Braswell was in Bibb County, Ga. he purchased a piece of land from James Osborn of Henry County, Ga. It is recorded in Book 1 page 201 of land deeds in the Bibb County Superior Court.
Marmaduke & Benjamin are believed to be: Sons of James Braswell Jr. & Mary Strickland Grandsons of James Braswell whose will was filed in Edgecombe Co., NC Sep 27 1760
Susannah's will is a valuable document for Braswell researchers, particularly for descendants of William Braswell who died in NC 1720/21, for this document proves that Susannah's son William was in the IOW Co., VA Court in 1732 "as the executor therein named"
